The U.S. military -- in fact, the entire U.S. government -- is being driven to become faster and more agile and to put more decision-making information in the hands of people on the front lines. The exponential growth in the power of mobile computing devices has opened up vast new sets of possibilities from which to draw solutions to these emerging requirements. This session will examine not only the state-of-the-art but also the art-of-the-possible. Both the Academic ADL Co-Lab at the University of Wisconsin and the ADL Co-Lab in Alexandria, VA, are engaged in research into the application of mobile computing devices to learning, training and performance support issues. Come join us for a look at these efforts.
